Description

These quick and easy breakfast rolls combine fluffy eggs, sausage, and cheese inside golden crescent dough. Baked to perfection, they’re ideal for busy mornings, brunch spreads, or freezer-friendly meal prep.


Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground breakfast sausage

  • 4 large eggs

  • 1 tbsp milk or cream (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 tube crescent roll dough (8 oz)

  • Olive oil spray or melted butter (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Cook sausage in a skillet until browned. Drain and set aside.

  3. Whisk eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble until just set.

  4. Unroll crescent dough and cut into 8 rectangles.

  5. Add sausage, eggs, and cheese to each piece. Roll up tightly, tucking in sides.

  6. Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Spray or brush with oil or butter.

  7. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and puffed. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Customize with veggies, hot sauce, or different cheeses.

  • To freeze: cool completely, wrap individually, and freeze up to 2 months.

  • Reheat in oven at 350°F or microwave for 1–2 minutes.
