Ingredients
-
1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1/2 pound flank steak or ribeye, thinly sliced
-
Salt and pepper to taste
-
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
-
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
-
1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
1/2 cup provolone cheese, shredded
-
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
-
1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional, for creamy base)
-
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
-
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Prepare the steak:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the thinly sliced steak with salt and pepper. Cook the steak in the skillet for 2–3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside. -
Cook the vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté for about 5–6 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and slightly caramelized. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Remove from heat. -
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you’re using store-bought dough, roll it out on a floured surface to your desired pizza shape. If making homemade dough, roll it out to fit your pizza stone or baking sheet. -
Assemble the pizza:
If desired, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise and Dijon mustard over the pizza dough for a creamy, tangy base. Evenly distribute the cooked vegetables over the pizza dough. Then, layer the cooked steak on top of the vegetables. -
Add cheese:
Sprinkle both provolone and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the steak and vegetables. -
Bake:
Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly. -
Serve:
Remove from the oven, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Slice and serve immediately!
