Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1 tsp Italian seasoning

2 cups cooked pasta (elbow or penne)

1/2 cup sour cream or ricotta

1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)

Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onion until soft. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.

Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5–10 minutes.

Combine pasta with meat sauce and sour cream in a large bowl.

Transfer mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.

Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
