Description
Garlic butter steak bites are juicy, tender pieces of seared steak coated in a rich, garlicky butter sauce. Ready in under 20 minutes, this quick and satisfying dish is perfect for busy weeknights, appetizers, or as a protein-packed addition to salads or bowls.
Ingredients
-
1.5 lbs sirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into 1-inch cubes
-
Salt and pepper, to taste
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
-
Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
-
Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding). Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
-
Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until garlic is fragrant but not browned.
-
Return steak bites to the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
-
Sprinkle with fresh parsley, if using, and serve immediately
