Ingredients

1 ball (12–14 oz) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1/2 cup pizza sauce or garlic cream sauce (optional, or skip for a white pizza)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola or blue cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded fontina or provolone cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing crust)

Fresh basil or arugula (optional for topping)

All-purpose flour or cornmeal (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a 10–12 inch circle. Transfer to parchment paper.

If using, spread a light layer of pizza or garlic cream sauce on the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

Evenly distribute mozzarella, gorgonzola, Parmesan, and fontina cheese over the surface.
