1 lb ground beef

1 lb Italian sausage

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 can (6 oz) tomato paste

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 package (12 oz) cooked pasta (penne or rotini works well)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ cup diced green peppers (optional)

½ cup sliced black olives (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a large skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, and onions over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes to develop flavor.

In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce. Mix until pasta is fully coated.

Spread half of the pasta mixture in the prepared baking dish. Top with half of the mozzarella, cheddar, pepperoni, Parmesan, green peppers, and black olives.

Repeat with the remaining pasta and toppings.

Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
