This creamy ranch chicken is rich, flavorful, and so easy to make – juicy chicken smothered in a savory ranch-infused cream sauce that’s perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta!


Ingredients

For the chicken:

  • Boneless chicken breasts or thighs 🍗

  • Olive oil 🫒

  • Garlic (minced) 🧄

  • Onion (diced) 🧅

  • Ranch seasoning mix 🌿

  • Chicken broth

  • Heavy cream or half-and-half 🥛

  • Cream cheese or sour cream

  • Salt & pepper

Optional additions:

  • Shredded cheddar cheese 🧀

  • Fresh parsley 🌱


Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté garlic and onion until soft. Add broth, ranch seasoning, and cream.

  • Stir in cream cheese or sour cream and whisk until smooth and creamy.

  • Return chicken to the pan, simmer until heated through and coated in sauce.

  • Garnish with bacon, cheese, or parsley and serve hot!
