Description

Creamy garlic chicken is a rich, comforting dish featuring tender, pan-seared chicken breasts smothered in a luscious garlic-infused cream sauce. Ready in under 30 minutes, it’s perfect for busy weeknights or when you want something elegant without much effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved horizontally to make 4 cutlets)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried thyme

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken cutlets with salt and pepper, then dredge lightly in flour, shaking off excess.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Pour in chicken broth and stir to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes.

  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for another 3–4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.

  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer gently for 2–3 more minutes to warm through.

  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
