2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (halved horizontally to make 4 cutlets)

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)

Salt and black pepper, to taste 
- 
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging) 
- 
2 tablespoons olive oil 
- 
2 tablespoons butter 
- 
3 cloves garlic, minced 
- 
1 cup chicken broth 
- 
3/4 cup heavy cream 
- 
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for added richness) 
- 
1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color) 
- 
Chopped parsley or green onions, for garnish 
Instructions
- 
Pat the chicken dry, then season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Dredge lightly in flour, shaking off any excess.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant. 
- 
Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, scraping up browned bits. Simmer for 2–3 minutes. 
- 
Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan (if using), and additional Cajun seasoning or paprika to taste. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer for 2–3 more minutes until heated through. 
- 
Garnish with chopped parsley or green onions and serve hot.
