Description

A hearty one-pan dinner with crispy ranch-seasoned potatoes, juicy smoked sausage, and melty cheddar cheese. Quick, flavorful, and perfect for family meals.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs baby red or Yukon Gold potatoes, halved or quartered

  • 14 oz smoked sausage (kielbasa or andouille), sliced into ¼” rounds

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or homemade)

  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Optional: chopped green onions or chives for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a large bowl, toss potatoes with olive oil and ranch seasoning until evenly coated.

  • Spread potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 25 minutes.

  • Add sausage slices to the pan, mix gently, and bake another 15–20 minutes.

  • Sprinkle cheese over the top and return to oven for 5 minutes until melted.

  • Garnish with green onions if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Add bell peppers or broccoli for extra veggies.

  • Use turkey sausage for a leaner version.

  • DIY ranch: garlic powder, onion powder, dill, parsley, salt, pepper.

  • Store leftovers in the fridge for 3–4 days.
