Ingredients
-
1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, about 14 oz)
-
3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
-
3 cloves garlic, minced
-
½ tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp dried oregano
-
½ tsp dried parsley
-
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
-
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
Olive oil, for brushing
-
Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)
Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle or circle about ½-inch thick, depending on your preferred shape. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
-
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir well.
-
Brush the entire surface of the dough generously with the garlic butter mixture, reserving a little for later.
-
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, followed by the Parmesan cheese.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
-
Remove from the oven and brush the crust edges with the remaining garlic butter mixture. Let it cool slightly.
-
Slice into breadsticks or wedges and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
