Description

Cheesy Garlic Pizza Bread is the ultimate fusion of garlic bread and pizza—two of the most comforting foods ever created. Perfect for parties, game nights, or just a casual Friday evening, this dish brings together the bold flavors of garlic butter, gooey melted cheese, and a soft, golden crust. It’s indulgent, satisfying, and incredibly easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ball of pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, about 14 oz)

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp dried oregano

  • ½ tsp dried parsley

  • ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Olive oil, for brushing

  • Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle or circle about ½-inch thick, depending on your preferred shape. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.

  • In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, and crushed red pepper flakes. Stir well.

  • Brush the entire surface of the dough generously with the garlic butter mixture, reserving a little for later.

  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the dough, followed by the Parmesan cheese.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

  • Remove from the oven and brush the crust edges with the remaining garlic butter mixture. Let it cool slightly.

  • Slice into breadsticks or wedges and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
