Description

A classic homemade cheese pizza with a chewy crust, tangy tomato sauce, and melty mozzarella. Easy, customizable, and better than delivery.


Ingredients

  • 1 ball pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)

  • ½ cup pizza sauce

  • 2 cups shredded low-moisture mozzarella

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)

  • Flour (for stretching)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F with pizza stone or sheet pan inside.

  2. Roll or stretch dough into a 12–14″ round. Place on parchment or floured peel.

  3. Spread sauce evenly, then add cheese. Brush crust with olive oil.

  4. Sprinkle oregano or garlic powder if desired.

  5. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and bubbly. Rest 3–5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper for easy transfer.

  • Add basil or red pepper flakes for flavor boost.

  • Leftovers reheat best in the oven or air fryer.
